Oh, you could write about the differences between certain cultures. Or, when cultures collide.

I could go on and on. I usually wind up writing about how cultures collide. When I start down this path I wind up pissing someone off.

Just my thoughts on the subject.

I completely agree. I'm fifteen now, and I've been writing fanfiction since I was about ten. It's weird and embarrasing for me to go back and read my very first fanfic, a Fruits Basket one called 'Hide and Seek'. Thankfully, the computer harddrive that it was on blew up and all my past work had been eliminated. (Okay...that's not so good.)

Also agree about the Cinema Bizarre thing. Barely any in English...

"Everything in his life is about her, and... that's what every woman wants." Selfish much, darling? Not only is that incredibly creepy, it's incredibly narrowminded. He can't have hobbies, interests, friends of his own, or even a simple day off from the job of incessantly worshipping His One and Only? Oh, my God. Therein lies the path to psychosis, little girl. Grow up. It's one thing to be important to someone; it's quite another thing to be an obsession. The latter isn't healthy, and it certainly isn't "what every woman wants." Don't project your arm-twist coping mechanisms onto the rest of us.

I bought American Girl dolls for each of my four granddaughters and they loved them to death. My feeling about dolls is that they are meant to be played with, dressed again and again, their hair brushed and their faces washed.

I grew up before American Girl dolls, but I had some beautiful dolls to play with. I made their clothing myself and they had boxes of clothes. That's because once my mother's friends found out that I made them, they would give me all their scraps, including buttons and lace.
